Capital One is one of the largest US banks, headquartered in Virginia. Despite being an American company, its offered credit cards in Canada since 1996, offering a variety of personal credit cards that come with great rewards and perks.   • Travel rewards: You can spend your money and earn travel points that can be redeemed on car rentals and hotel accommodations.

  • Costco: If you have a Costco credit card, it doubles as a membership, every January you receive a cash back coupon with earnings from the previous year which you can redeem on almost anything in Costco.
