Canadians crave burrito bowls, according to DoorDash data. The dish tops the list for the most popular meal to order in the country, alongside butter chicken and poutine.
Poutine appears in the top 10 foods in seven provinces — no surprise there.
One order, in particular, stood out. The largest DoorDash order of the year was for Greek food and generated a substantial bill of $1,087.
Most orders are not quite that costly, though the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the restaurant industry online, leaving Canadians to spend through third-party apps that often include extra fees.
Although these fees are unavoidable for customers who choose this convenience, there are ways to save money.
It can be rewarding to leave the cooking to the professionals. If your transaction history is practically a list of your favourite restaurants, the right credit card can reward you for those purchases.
Here are the seven best credit cards in Canada for food delivery.
