The network of hotels provides a selection of rooms from 18 unique brands and collections, targeting specific audiences. Travellers can find everything from standard rooms to luxury accommodations, each delivering modern amenities and the customer service you can expect from over 70 years in the hospitality industry.


Road travellers and those who often travel without flying can really rack up points with this no-fee card. Based on a $1,500 monthly spend, combining the 20,000 welcome bonus points, you are granted the option to redeem for a seven-night stay at Best Western Hotels worldwide. On top of this, early or late check-ins and outs, room upgrades, and other benefits will become available with Gold Elite Status after your first purchase with this card.

Best Western Mastercard® credit card

Apply for the Best Western Mastercard® and get 20,000 Best Western Rewards points when you make your first eligible purchase using the card. That is enough points for a free night’s stay.

Earn five rewards points per dollar you spend at Best Western properties and get one reward point per dollar you spend everywhere else. Using the flexible rewards program, you can redeem your points for hotel stays, gift cards and more. Cardholders can also choose to convert their points to other top airline and travel reward programs, including Aeroplan and Alaska Mileage Plan.

According to our Best of Finance methodology, the average Canadian will earn $443 in Best Western Rewards points in the first year.

Credit score requirement for approval:

Good: You’ve had a credit card or loan for at least six years. You’ve had good credit for the last seven years (no bankruptcies or no defaults on credit as a result of failing to pay debts back to creditors). You haven’t opened a new credit card account, loan, or line of credit in the last nine months. You’ve made the minimum payments on my existing credit cards for the past three months.
