If you pay off your balance each month, then a rewards credit card is a great way for you to get a little bit back from your monthly spending.

We've just added a brand NEW credit card on our site, the MBNA Rewards MasterCard I and wanted to give you the skinny on this new rewards card.

What I Like About the MBNA Rewards MasterCard Credit Card

Rewards on Everything: I HATE those cards that limit where I can get my sweet, sweet rewards points (what can I say? I'm greedy!). The MBNA Rewards MasterCard gives you points on everything - 1 point for every dollar you spend in fact.

No Annual Fee:  A lot of cards that offer you a decent reward return typically will charge you an annual fee - it was great to see this card being offered with no annual fee.

Reward Flexibility: Their reward point program is really flexible - you can redeem your points for travel, cash, charitable donations, merchandise, or gift cards. This is a great feature if you're into a variety of rewards, instead of always sticking to one category.

BONUS Offer 1,000 Points: MBNA is also currently running an offer where you will receive 1,000 BONUS points after your first purchase. They also offer 1,000 BONUS points each year on you account anniversary.

The Verdict

Overall, the MBNA Rewards MasterCard is a great option if you're looking for a great rewards card that will give you rewards points with no fuss. Specifically if you're looking for a credit card with:

  • Flexible reward redemption options including cash, travel, merchandise, and gift cards
  • No Annual Fee
  • A great reward return rate
