About Canada Protection Plan

Canada Protection Plan is a Canadian owned and operated corporation that designs, markets and sells life insurance and related products with simplified underwriting processes that require no medical exams on many of their plans.

Canada Protection Plan was founded in 1992 in Toronto. At that time, they offered one No Medical permanent insurance product for sale through independent insurance advisors.

Their business has expanded in many ways over the years. First, they developed a suite of permanent No Medical products so that clients had a choice. Then, in 2006, they introduced several term insurance options.

They introduced their Call Centre and direct to consumer sales began in 2006. In 2008, Call Centre sales could be completed over the phone.

Today, they are proud to offer their customers many options to make it easier than ever to purchase Simplified Issue and No Medical life insurance.
