Annastacia Plaskos, Founder of Fix It Females

Annastacia is the founder of Fix It Females, an all-female renovation company challenging the norms of a traditionally male-dominated industry. Her love for building and craftsmanship began early, working alongside her parents from the age of seven. By 18, she had started her first painting business, and by 22, she was managing a small renovation crew.

In 2015, she launched Fix It Females, gradually growing the company to over 40 team members through hard work, persistence, and a strong belief in creating opportunities for women in the trades. Along the way, her work has been recognized in various media outlets, and she’s been invited to speak at events like the Salvation Army’s keynote and Girl Guides programs.

She’s also contributed to the restoration of historic landmarks, including the Masonic Temple, and was invited to share her insights on a construction project in Chicago. With a deep commitment to quality, inclusivity, and mentorship, Annastacia continues to inspire others while helping reshape the future of construction.
