With more than 155,000 new trucks sold in 2017, the Ford pickup outsold the Ram pickup—its closest competitor—by almost 57,000 units.
Compared to the previous year’s list of the best-selling vehicles in Canada, the Honda CR-V makes the cut this year at the expense of the Hyundai Elantra which came in eleventh. Also notable is the drop in popularity of the Dodge Grand Caravan; in 2016, this minivan was the fourth most popular vehicle in Canada but in 2017 its sales declined almost 9%.
